How I spent my weekend.
03rd June 2007
Energy drinks. Energy drinks are phenomenal.
I spent the weekend sucking down energy drinks like a Mario Brother eats mushrooms. You can never, never have too many of them. Nope. Not possible. Now I know what your thinking. Aren’t those things bad for you. No, of course not.
(I’ll pause while you shake your head) Done? ….
OK, ok, so maybe they’re not the greatest. After all, it does seem a bit odd that as a society we’ve sort of come to the point where we shy away from stuff like water, milk, or fruit juice. You know… natural stuff. Furthermore, from a sheer marketing perspective it seems odd that we’d rather pound things with titles like “monster”. I mean could you imagine seeing that old Sunny D commercial now days? Let’s see we got milk, purple stuff and….. MONSTER energy drink. (children chime in:) YEAH Ma GIMME A MONSTER! Am I totally off in saying that doesn’t sound right?
Anyways that’s all for the randomness. Take is easy all.
